The act is often used by the forest department officials to put charges against the tribes who collect forest products from the forest though the tribe’s behavior has nothing to do with the wildlife protection. The tribe are thus arrested, abused, assaulted directly by the forest department officials. They have to pay for the bribes to the officials to avoid the further abuse or bail after trial.
